It’s exciting news whenever Tobacco’s cooking up something fresh. Last week, he announced his first record in four years, Ultima Massage II. Yesterday, he followed up, debuting its first single, “Eruption (Gonna Get My Hair Cut At The End Of The Summer)”.

The experimental electronic musician keeps very busy as the front of Black Moth Super Rainbow, and his solo work has always stood strong alongside it. Now, it seems the line dividing the projects will be blurring heavily in the best ways with this release. Not only do his vocals reminisce of BMSR’s 2012 album, Cobra Juicy, but Tobacco also announced a tour this spring which will feature the full band’s lineup in what was previously a solo effort live. The tour currently doesn’t hit the Northeast but more dates will be revealed soon.
