Tickets On Sale for CT’s Fauxchella, Check Out the Lineup Here

If you’re living in Connecticut with little to no hope of accessing any of the major music festivals throughout the United States on a yearly basis, you’ll sometimes feel a little down in the dumps and out of the loop. Your blues will be quelled on May 3rd when Connecticut’s Fauxchella goes down in Hamden. In its third year, Fauxchella is marketed as “Connecticut’s Premier Indie Music and Art Festival”. Some of this year’s biggest headliners include funk fusion band Kung Fu, originally from New Haven, and Pennsylvanian hardcore punk rockers, Pissed Jeans (pictured).

Sponsored by Sloppy Seconds and Manic Productions, Fauxchella brings together the cluster of partnered venues on Treadwell Avenue in Hamden to form  a 10-hour, four stage festival setting. The Space, The Ballroom, The Outer Space and an outdoor stage will all play host to over 30 acts throughout the day. In the past, CT has been graced with the presence of esteemed acts like Fang Island, A Great Big Pile of Leaves and Bear Hands through this gathering. The 2014 lineup (see below doesn’t warrant for any shrugging of the shoulders either. A solid variety of regional talent will join up for a day of nonstop music.

The festival scene will be rounded out by display tents, a beer garden, and of course the vintage shop in The Space. Several different ticket options are available for the day. For $16, you can snag an all ages ticket to shows specific to The Space stage. $18 will net you tickets to all four stages for the day (21+). There are also a limited number of $30 VIP passes that will give you all-access to the hospitality tent and score you a t-shirt.
