Fans of guitar-heavy psych rock should give Austin’s The Young a long, hard look. The band put out their third album, Chrome Cactus, last month over on Matador Records. It’s a darker affair than 2012’s Dub Egg, but that should only increase the allure, no? They’ll be swinging by Glasslands tomorrow as part of a national tour that also hits Mercury Lounge on Friday.
