We were one of the first to introduce you to The Hudson Project, an inaugural celebration of music and arts to take place at the Winston Farm in nearby Saugerties, NY. We left you mostly in the dark because, truthfully, we were left in the dark.
Racing minds can rest easy tonight because the initial lineup has been announced and it is pretty stellar. The top names billed are Pitchfork Festival headliner Kendrick Lamar, Bassnectar, Modest Mouse (who are closing out this year’s Boston Calling Festival) and practical jokers The Flaming Lips. The line-up doesn’t stop there: it also has great acts like Moby, Flying Lotus, Cults, ZZ Ward, Small Black and much more.
We’ve also learned more about the ticket information. Three-day passes will be available with two VIP tiers. The festival will also have a Glamping option, camping option and car/RV parking passes available. Those who really want something new can swing for the EZ Tent Packages which includes two tickets to the festival and Hudson Project-printed camping supplies. (an air mattress, sleeping bags, even a tent – all with the Hudson Project emblem!) Neat Beet readers will be pleased to know that shuttles will be available from NYC, Albany, Boston, Philadelphia and even Baltimore. All of this goes on sale Friday, April 4th at 11:00 AM. (EST)
