If you’ll be in Connecticut this weekend and you’re interested in combining outdoor fun with awesome local music, there’s a really great benefit concert going on in Danbury this Sunday. Random Compassion Fest 2014 will be running from noon to around 8:00 pm at the CityCenter Danbury Green. A full arsenal of bands will be assembling in an effort to raise money for Ann’s Place, a cancer support center that offers free care to thousands in Connecticut and New York.
The day will be jam-packed with live music, art displays/sales, and record sales from Trash American Style, Battle Stag Records, Obscure Me Records, and others. On the day of the event, donors will be entered into a raffle for cool prizes as well. If you’re in the area, it is all for an excellent cause. Have a look at the music lineup for the day:
