Seattle electronic duo Odesza (Harrison Mills, Clayton Knight) have been pulsing out waves of grooving electronica for the past two years, in case you missed their prior efforts, My Friends Never Die and Summer’s Gone. Today, the twosome have announced their latest record; entitled In Return, it will be out September 9th on Counter Records. Along with this announcement is the first soundbite from it, “Memories That You Call”. It’s electronic dance laced with ambient vibes, and its chilled out side may just be sourced from the fruits of their collaboration with Monsoonsiren on the track.
Odesza have announced a late Summer tour that will be in support of it. NYC dates include September 2nd at Bowery Ballroom and the 3rd at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Ambassadeurs and Hayden James support along the tour’s entirety.
