Kodacrome Covered Girls, Play Cameo’s Last Month, Win Tix

One of our favorite local electronica projects is Kodacrome. The duo, known for their moody soundscapes and analog approach, have been mum much of this year, but are re-emerging with 2015’s conclusion on the horizon. The group’s just released a dusky reimagining of Girls’ “Vomit”, which we’re revealing publicly just below. If you’re digging this, do give last year’s album, Aftermaths, or its latest video, “White Love,” a perusal too. Next week, they will play at the sunsetting Cameo Gallery on November 4th to tie it all together, in advance of the venue’s finale on the 21st.

Also on the bill is the equally beloved Kodomo, who we’ve sung high praise for prior and is promising some new visuals and songs past Patterns & Light, the long-tenured Symbion Project, who as part of Freezepop may trigger some memories if you ever played the original Guitar Hero and Nerve Leak, who is making his NYC debut with tunes pieced together from his Disconnected EP. The night promises a collection of complicated electronics across the board to test your senses. To further whet your appetite for this amalgamation of artists, we’ve also teamed up with Cameo Gallery to do a giveaway of a pair of tickets for the show.

For that pair of tix on the 4th, we are offering three different ways to enter yourself below. The contest is open until 12 PM on the 3rd.
