If you thought you missed out when you couldn’t swing by Webster Hall in November to catch Cults, fear not. Manic Productions announced yesterday that they reeled in the band to perform a much more intimate show on February 19 at The Space in Hamden, CT. It’s in continued support of their 2013 release, Static. They have been getting around of late and having them on board to perform at a small venue makes for one of your best opportunities to check them out.
This tour date is part of a lengthy North American tour for Cults which included multiple stops in California, Canada, and everywhere in between. Their Connecticut date comes about a week after they take the stage in support of Pixies for a handful of shows. They play other area shows at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh on February 15, and at Tralf Music Hall in Buffalo on February 17.
Tickets go on sale Friday January 10. In all likelihood, this will probably be your last chance to see them live in the region for a while. They have five known dates in France for the month of March. That could potentially blossom into a bigger European tour, so see them while you can.
