If I told you I had watched MGMT with some Lord Huron members, tasted wine from local vineyards, watched thousands of people drown out Tom Petty during “Free Fallin'” and had culinary dishes from around the world, it would sound like a pretty fantastic week right? Wrong. Because all of that I mentioned took place on one of the three days of Firefly Music Festival last year.
So it is great to hear that Firefly Music Festival was returning this year as a four day festival. (unlike 2013 and 2012) But one question remained: how would the lineup stand to the new format? The result: quite well. The headliners this year are Foo Fighters, Outkast and Jack Johnson. Other stellar names include Chance The Rapper, Local Natives, Typhoon and Arctic Monkeys.
